Do you have a wedding coordinator?
No. SookePoint does not provide an on-site wedding coordinator or planner. Our intimate wedding venue gives couples the flexibility to design their day exactly as they envision it.
That said, our team is happy to help point you in the right direction by providing a list of trusted local vendors, including wedding planners, officiants, photographers, florists, caterers, musicians, rental companies, and more. We’re also available to answer questions about the venue and help ensure your planning process goes as smoothly as possible.
How many guests can SookePoint accommodate?
Our intimate wedding venue is ideal for ceremonies and receptions of up to 20 guests, making it perfect for micro weddings, elopements, vow renewals, and small celebrations with your closest family and friends.
Is catering available?
Yes. Couples are welcome to arrange their own catering or choose from one of our recommended local caterers. We can provide vendor recommendations to help make planning easier.
Can we reserve accommodations for our guests?
Yes! We offer luxurious Studio, 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Cottage Suites, making it easy for your guests to stay together in one spectacular location. Group accommodation rates may be available when reserving six or more suites.
Can we hold both our ceremony and reception at SookePoint?
Yes. Many couples choose to exchange vows on our oceanfront terraced patio before moving indoors to The Cove for an intimate reception overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
What happens if it rains?
West Coast weather can be unpredictable. The Cove event space provides a beautiful backup option should the weather not cooperate, giving you peace of mind on your wedding day.
Can we decorate the venue?
You’re welcome to personalize the space with your own décor, however, we simply ask that all decorations be non-damaging and that nothing is permanently attached to walls, ceilings, or furnishings (ie. no tacks, nails, glue, or super strong tape). Our team can provide setup guidelines before your event.
Can we use rice or confetti during our ceremony or reception?
Unfortunately, no. To help protect the natural environment and keep the property safe and enjoyable for all guests, rice, confetti, glitter, and other items that create litter or require extensive cleanup are not permitted. We encourage couples to celebrate with environmentally friendly alternatives, such as bubbles, a group toast, or a photographer-directed celebration that captures the moment beautifully without impacting the surrounding landscape.
Can we visit the venue before booking?
Of course! We encourage couples to schedule a tour so you can experience the venue, explore the ceremony locations, and ask any questions before making your decision.
Is SookePoint pet-friendly?
Some of our Cottage Suites are pet-friendly, so your four-legged family members may be able to join your celebration. Please speak with our team in advance to discuss availability and our pet policies.
How far in advance should we book?
Our weddings are intentionally intimate, and availability can be limited during peak seasons. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
